Ocean produced the film that the music video was edited from in film noir style, in keeping with the theme of the rap song (in a style Ocean created in what she calls "metalfunk") she wrote about love addiction. Love-Junkie' is a song Ocean wrote spoofing love addiction, and it's over-the-top dramas and obsessive behaviors are handled humorously in the 'dummied-out' lyrics.
